Actually, this is a frequent question on this board lately. I did very brief research, and did not come up with a clear cut answer. I think the court will use the 'reasonable' standard. In my opinion, younger than 10 is going to be a problem. Older than 10 will probably depend upon the circumstances of length of time, place left, maturity of the child, etc.
