In Texas, does a man have to pay child support if he reliquishes parental rights?

Three scenarios:

1. Past due child support still has to be paid, even after termination of parental rights.

2. Child support will no longer accrue as long as the child lives with the other parent.

3. But if the child ends up in the care of the state (e.g. foster care), the terminated parent can be required to pay support.

The general answer is "no."
