Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Texas

Parent A was given primary custdody of children. Parent A has never taken physical possesion of kids except for weekend visits. Parent B has filed for Modification to change order. Now Parent A wants to take children. Is there anything Parent B can do , in the short term (we are waiting on modification to go to trial) to stop Parent A from taking the kids?

Thank you
