Re: Times for visitation

Judges expect you to wait approx. an hour.

However, as a parent and an attorney, I encourage parents to work together to raise their child.

I suggest that you use common sense.

If he is supposed to arrive at 6 pm and cannot arrive until 8 pm. If you have an appointment at 7pm (say a manicure), then take the child with you and tell him to pick the child up at 8 p.m.at the manicurist.

That is what my ex and I did and it worked for us.

In fact, we never followed the court ordered visitation schedule.

It took 2 people to care this child and it takes 2 people to raise this child.

If you cannot work things out, I encourage you to go to a mediator and discuss your options in a safe environment.

Good luck!
