Transfer of car title between husband and wife

Husband and I are separating . He signed over title of car to me . He does not want it . Can I go get the car registered in my name ? And will this show the judge that my husband is not interested in this car . Will this make it easier for the judge to decide who the car will go to ? It is our only car between us both . No children , no property other than the car . I have a daughter to go see in a different city I would need the car to go see her . He has family to help him as far as getting back and forth to work ... I do not.

Even uncontested divorces without children are really not DIY. In an uncontested divorce, it is up to the two of you to divide your property and debts and present your agreement in a properly prepared decree. One of you should really hire an attorney.
