Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

transgender parental rights

I live in Dallas Texas and the mother in Fort Worth Texas. I am trying desperately to find information of transgender parental rights for both cities. I am concerned I will not be allowed my standard visitation rights because of my lifestlye.

Re: transgender parental rights

Parental rights is a Texas issue. The Texas family code is available on-line.

I don't practice in Dallas or Ft. Worth. You need to consult with a local attorney. Please try one of the attorneys on this website. Most offer a free short consultation.

I believe that Dallas has a "gay, lesbian and transgendered yellowpages".

There are also several "gay, lesbian and transgendered" legal websites.

Texas law does not directly discuss transgendered issues.

I'd find an attorney in your county that knows the judges in your county.

Good luck!
