Re: translation of weekend visitation notification

You are being offered alternative visitation to your child.

1. You pick your child up at 6:00PM on the 1st, 3rd and 5th fridays of the month, and return her the following Sunday at 6:00PM.

2. If you don't like that, then you decide which single weekend per month you want your child and pick her up at 6:00PM the day school is out for the weekend, and return her at 6:00PM on the day before school starts again. Sounds like Friday through Monday.

3. You must elect which of the above visitation schedules you want within 90 days of the filing of the Order in which these terms appear, and if you elect one weekend per month of your choosing then you must notify her which weekend that will be each month by providing written or telephonic notice 14 days prior.

Sounds like a lot of trouble to me. Did the Judge enter this or are you negotiating?

Why don't you have a lawyer to answer these questions if you are concerned about the visitation to your child?
