I wish to have this father and son bond but I'm unable to. How do I go by getting shared custody of my son; I wan to be fair to my son and let him spend time with us both. Plus my child lives in GA and I live in TX

First you have to determine the court of continuing jurisdiction. If the last order involving your son was signed by a Texas judge, then Texas is proabably the court of continuing jurisdiction. If that's the case, you can file a motion to enforce possession and access or a motion to modify the parent child relationship.

If the last order was signed in GA, then you need to take action in GA. Even if Texas has jurisdiction, your ex may file a motion to transfer the proceedings to GA and the courts will permit that because that's where your son lives.

Good luck!!
