Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I'm going to turn 17 & I live in Texas... My parents have Joint Custody of me.. I Live with my Father But would like to Move in with my Mother on my 17th birthday... Can I simply move out without being called a runaway?

Actually, you don't get to decide your residence on your own until you turn 18. Turning 17 doesn't do anything but make you criminally liable as an adult--civilly, you're still a child. If your mom and dad want to agree to that or go back to court, it can be changed that way (a judge would normally listen to what you want and let you live with your mom if that seemed to be reasonable and something that would benefit you).
