Tx CPS -placed with Relative

infant grandson placed with us from hosp due to drugs in baby & CPS says she can come & get baby at anytime yet CPS is involved & has not gone to court..been almost 4mo...what are our rights? why not to court yet?

You actually have little or no rights to the child even though you are the grandparents. You would only have the rights that CPS has. If you want the child, you better start taking your own action. Why no court in 4 months - takes a little longer than that. Things don't happen as fast in real life as on television.
