Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

can TX family law overrule judgements made in CA?

My friend's exwife is moving to Texas with their 2 kids, for which he diligently pays child support. She says that once she gets to Texas a judge can overrule his partental rights established in California. Is this true??

as long as your friend remains in CA the CA court will keep jurisdiction.
