First of all, custody battles are not DIY. You need to get a lawyer. The court will determine what is in the child's best interest regarding conservatorship, possession and access. Child support is generally paid by the non-custodial parent, which if there is only one child, is usually 20% of income, and medical insurance, and 50% of uninsured medical expenses.
First you go talk to a good family law attorney so you have some idea of what you are talking about. ""Full custody"" does not mean cutting the other parent out of the child's life completely, nor does it have anything to do with child support. Conservatorship has to do with the rights and duties of each parent.
