Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

unmarried fathers custody rights

I have been living with my sons mother since his birth seven years ago. I'd like to relocate to another state. What type of legal agreement do we need to file? If she doesn't want me to move, (we are separating) can she deny me rights to my son?

You need to set up some visitation and parental rights that are signed by a Judge.

A notarized agreement is NOT enough.

I offer a kit if the 2 of you can agree on everything. It was designed for Harris County, Texas. If you don't live in Harris County, then I won't have the county forms. However, I have the State of Texas forms.

My cost depends on how much work I have to do. Normally it's under $500 for everything.
