Unsupervised Minor
My son lives with his father in Houston and is 16. His father leaves him by himself overnight during the week (not everyday) and some on the weekends. Can I call CPS? There is alcohol in the house. We share joint custody.

If you believe that the child is in danger, you could certainly contact CPS to report the situation.
More to the point, you should seriously consider seeking modification of current court order concerning custody so that your son lives with you. If you believe that your son is in danger by staying with his father, even on weekends, you can ask the court to restrict his access to supervised visitation.
