Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Urgent. Who can make decisions if a person is not able.

My daughter is 19 and pregnant. Not married or living with the father of the baby.I have grave concerns about the possiblity that he may be called on to make a decision while she is having this baby, frtunately he is a speed freak and has not shown any care or concern for her for the past nine months. IT IS clear that she is going to have this baby today or tomorrow(10-4-99). Every thing has gone well so far but you never know. I would like to know what my legal grounds are. She had been living out of our home but last week began to move back home and was trying to pack the last of it last night. Please advise as soon as possible.

Re: Urgent. Who can make decisions if a person is not able.

I am not sure what you are asking. If you are

asking about your grandparent's rights, there

are situations where grandma can try for custody

or situations where grandma can ask for access.

Both can be drawn out and expensive, and both

depend on the fitness of the parents of the child.

I wish I could provide a better answer, but the

question you ask is too broad for me to provide a

better answer. I hope this helps.
