Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am in a verbally and sometimes physically abusive relationship and I have a 1 year old son. I want to leave but I have no car, no job, no money, nothing. My boyfriend tells me to leave but won't let me out the door, especially not with my son. The times that our fights have turned physical he has taken, or broken my phone so I could not call 911... I refuse to leave my son behind. I don't feel that my life is in immediate danger, and have no proof he has physically assaulted me. Would I get in trouble for leaving with my son? He will not be mature and let me go willingly. I am tempted to leave while he is at work but I am afraid it could be considered kidnapping. He is the father and shares a last name. We are not married. I have to select the free option because I do not have access to any money but this is very important. Please help.

You will not get in trouble for leaving with your son. It is not "kidnapping."
