Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation

I'm am the CP of my daughter. who is 11 weeks And I let her father come to my house every Wen. and Sun. for a couple hours to see her. I do not want to let him leave with her or leave her with him at anouther house. He is not fit to be a parent and is a convicted felon w/ aggravated assult with a deadly weapon on his record. So if he tried to take me to court to get more visits (like overnite or for the weekend) would the felony go aginst him? I'm so afraid of this happening I do not want to put my daughter in any danger

Re: Visitation

It's very rare for a NCP father to get any kind of overnight visits with a newborn. I don't know about the felony. Lots of people have felonies and see the error of their ways. Just on what you said, I doubt that the felony would have as much effect as you think. Good Luck.
