what can you do when the divorce decree says that you are supposed to drop the kids off at your ex-spouses residence but when you do so the ex-spouses boyfriend threatens you with bodily harm, and you request an alternate place to drop off or pick up the kids that is safe but the ex-spouse will not comply saying that she wants to follow what is in the divorce decree. do you have to wait for your lawyer to file something or can you do something about it right away?

You could seek a protective order. These are free at the DA's office and they do the work for nothing. Any further violations result in jail time. Pretty good, huh?
