Visitation Enforcement

kids have not seen bilogical mother in one year, mother wants kids foreced over for visitation. we have tried to force them to no evail. the judge said kids must go or father will go to jail. all court appointed counselors have recommended to not force them (will make realtionship worse). what can we do, we do not want dad to go to jail but kids refuse to go, due to past history.

1. If you don't have a lawyer, retain one.

2. If you don't like the decision of the court, appeal.

3. If you don't choose to appeal or lose the appeal, decide whether it will be better for the children to see their mother in person or their father held in contempt.

4. During all of this, continue negotiations.

5. Children do not make the rules, the parents do.
