Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation Notice

My Ex-Husband called and told my kids not me that he was not picking them up for his scheduled Easter holliday. My divorce states that he must give me notice if he is not going to pick them up. He always picks them up from daycare and I am not sure what I should do. Do I take them to daycare with their bags and have the daycare call him when he does not show up or do I pick them up and concider his notice to my kids?

Call him and ask his intentions.

Re: Visitation Notice

If he has called and said that he won't pick them up, I would assume that satisifies his "notice" to you. It sure sounds to me like he's given you advance notice that he is not coming.

Therefore, plan on having the kids for Easter!

Have a fun week-end!
