Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation with a third party felon

My STBX is living with a convicted prositute and crack user. I have temporary orders which restricts contact with the felon. She has a 20 year record but has not been arrested since 2000 except for three weeks ago when she was visiting a freind in jail and was picked up for an outstanding fine. The freind was in jail for prostitution.

He says that once the divorce is final and he marries the felon that the court will force me to allow her around the children.

What can I do?

If I go to court and the other side has decided to represent themselves, my current record is 100% wins. You need an attorney.

I strongly suggest that you engage the services of an attorney if you currently don't have one. (From your question, it appears you are doing this by yourself.) If you are under representation, you need to discuss this issue with your attorney.
