Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation Responsibilty

My wife and I have been separated for the last year. She says she has filed for divorce but I have not been served with any papaers yet. We have 2 children together who live with her. I have had standard visitation with them since we have been apart. I am supposed to pick up the children for a week long visit next month. My wife in the past has cooperated in the past with me picking up the kids on the weekend. It is a 4 hour drive to pick them up and 4 hours back. This time she told me it is my responsibility to work around her schedule and pick the kids up at a time when it is convenient to her. She has said that I could only get the kids late friday or saturday night or early sunday morning. Am i forced to work around her schedule like this to see my kids?

Re: Visitation Responsibilty

If you are not under court orders, then while the two of you may have been using a framework to aid you in visitation, there is no ORDER to enforce should one of you choose not to abide by the framework.
