In Texas, at what age can a child decide to not to go for visitation?

When the judge says visitation is not required. It's in the order. No mention of when the child does not want to go. If the child does not want to go, get the order changed.

Based on what you have stated, it appears that a court has ordered child visitation. As such, with an effective and enforceable court order, most failure to facilitate child visitation might lead to a potential contempt charge. If you want to modify the child visitation order, you need to go back to the court and have it modified. Children do not have the right to make decisions. Only after the child is 18 or no longer subject to the Court's jurisdiction does he or she have the right to "decide to not go for visitation".
