Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

visitations / contacts

ex-wife has moved away from ca, to ut, and now in tx, with the two children, 14 and 18. i live in southern california. children don't want visitations / or contact with me. sounds like mom has been ''brainwashing'' or alienating them, from me. i still pay child support.

question is, can i sue the ex, her son-in-law, and her daughter for denying me / violating my parental / constitutional rights to access to and associate with the children in 3 States? the ca. family law court never terminated my parental rights.

please respond

Re: visitations / contacts

It sounds as if you have a valid CA order providing visitation. If so, you can file in the CA court to enforce that visitation. You can also file to register and enforce it in the Texas court, but that would be more inconvenient for you. (In Texas, the access provisions would only extend to the younger child, since the older one is now an adult).
