Waived waiting period
I have been seperated for 2 years from my ex residing in california..We both live completely seperate lives. I would like to get married in may and would like to know if there is an inexpensive expidited process so that the divorce from my ex is almost immediate. And what is the waiting period and cost?

There is a sixty day waiting period from the day the petition is filed to when you can finalize it. You will need to appear in court only once at the end to prove up the final decree. Generally, I can do an agreed divorce for $1000 plus filing fees. If I have to serve him because he wont sign the waiver, then add additional costs for service. Call me if I can help.

Presuming that you and your ex are in agreement for the divorce on all issues, e.g. children and division of property, if any, and your ex will waive service of citation, your divorce can be accomplished in approximately 60 days. I can do this for you for $895 plus filing fees and expenses. Expenses should be minimal but I mention it just in case.
