Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Waiver of Citation

I have filed for divorce on my own and given my husband a copy of the petition and a waiver of citation to sign. My question is what happens if he does not sign the waiver. Can I still go to court in 60 days and get my divorce?

Re: Waiver of Citation

You will need to get him served. If he does not sign the waiver then you should consider hiring an attorney. If you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me.
