Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I'm wanting to get a divorce. Is there spouse support in Texas? I'm looking for an attorney, but can't afford one. My husband makes most of the income in our home. Can he be made to pay my attorney fees? I caught him messing around and found him and his girl friend at the hotel.

There is limited spousal support in Texas.

He might be ordered to pay your attorney fees. No attorney can guarantee it. Only a judge can make that decision.

Having an affairs is only relevant in property division. It might get you a little bit more of the property division.

I'm not taking contested cases. I recommend that you contact Patricia Bushman at 713-807-9405. Talk to Jessica in her office. Please tell her that FRAN sent you.
