Wedding Rings
My daughter and her husband are getting a divorce and he is demanding that she give her rings back to him. Who is the righful owner of the wedding rings?

The engagement ring was a gift before marriage, and it is her separate property. The bargain was fulfilled by the marriage. They can argue about the wedding rings - but any judge I know would say that each keeps his own.
