Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My wife and I are Common Law married in Texas but she denies the marriage because her Pastor said we're not and also because she says there's no paperwork to prove the marriage. What can I do legally to prove to her that we are INDEED Legally married?

You have to prove you had an agreement to be married; you have to prove that you then co-habitated after that; and then you have to prove that you "both" held yourselves out to the public as husband & wife (like a joint banking account where she used your last name). These elements must be proven and it is more difficult to prove common law marriage today than it was years ago. But can be done if all the facts are there.
