Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

me and my wife are confused about what to do

my wife has been charged with injury to a child and her two girls was placed with her grandmother we have been working on getting them back home with us she has done all the court has asked of her other than being off of probation but now it seems since i was injured in an accident and cant work that casa dont think we should get the girls back though her probation officer feels otherwise could you please help us
