Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My wife and I have decided mutually to get a divorce. We have three children, the oldest being six. My question is even if she says that she doesn't want child support, am I still going to have to pay, and if not is there any chance it could come back on me later. Also, I have recently signed up to attend college and am not sure how that will affect the child support either. Do I still have to pay if I'm in school or can I wait until I graduate? Any advise will help. Thank you in advance.

1. You need to talk to an experienced family law attorney in your county

2. Here is how much judges feel about child support. Your kids still have to eat. They can't wait until you graduate from college. The kids come before anything - school, rent, your life, etc.

They especially feel this way if your kids are getting any federal or state assistance -- such as food stamps or Medicaide.

3. You can work while in college - on campus or delivering pizza and pay at least minimum wage x 40 hours per week. You can still go to school and work at the same time.
