Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How Can She Get Away With It?

MY wife and I divorced in 1996 I started paying child support the following month of 465 per month. A year or so later her and the kids moved back in and we were a family again until July 17th when she left me again. Up until this recent school year I had my son living with me mostly and sometimes with her about half and half. I have provided all the kids ever needed and stupidly because now she is suing me for back child suport from the beginning of th edivorce. How can she lie and get away with it.I have check stubs proving the payments i made I have countless proof that she lived here and the kids lived here until 2001. Yet still she is automaticcally believed and I am automatically a deadbeat Dad. WEll they wanted 50,000 in arrears but they had to give me credit for some of it becasue I had check copies. Why do they automatically assume she is not lying even after they found out that she was. Also She was receiving without my knowledge Food Stamps , Medicaid and TANF the whole time up until dec. of 1999. I have proof of that also I found buried away in some papers. ISnt there anything I can do to prove my case and to prove that she is lying? Why am I automatically assumed to be a deadbeat father. How can anything be so unjust?
