Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
my wife is divorcing me and i do not want it. before she said she wanted the divorce there were no signs of problems or communication of concerns or arguments. it all happened randomly and i was blindsided by it. since then all lines of communication regarding our relationship have been closed. she has refused my attempts to talk things out or counseling. she has done this before but we have always worked it out and been happy. she is a very impressionable person and can be persuaded by others especially her parents who haven't been a fan of our marriage. i feel she was talked into this and didn't make a decision based on our relationship. texas is a no fault divorce state what are my options?

In Texas, a judge will grant a divorce just because one party wants it.
Most judges no longer refer people to counseling since they have found it does not work when people are ordered by a judge to attend. In order for counseling to be effective, the parties must be willing to enter into it in good faith.
