Can my wife file alimony on me when I file for devorce if she left me and the state over nine months ago with no contact?

She can ask for anything she wants. There are numerous variables as to what the court will rule on such a request. You really don't provide enough information for me to provide an answer on how the court may rule. Is it a Texas divorce? How did she support herself while she was gone? Has she worked in the past? Does she have marketable education or training? There are additional factors to bevobsidered also. You should consider hiring an attorney in your area to protect your interests. Good luck.
