Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My wife filed for divorce in Texas in May of this year. There was a Rule 11 drawn up, a Settlement Agreement made, and the Divorce Decree has been set up. I have signed all forms, but she keeps saying she won't sign, even though she is the one who wants the divorce. I let my attorney go today, because why should I pay for legal fees if she won't finish what she started. What should my next step be?

Letting go your attorney was premature at best. Your attorney should have filed to enforce the agreement, if it is enforceable, otherwise, he or she should probably set the case for trial.
Your next step should be to either rehire your attorney or get a new one and then listen to their advise. Never expect the other side to cooperate; just be glad if they do.
