Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
my wife left me about a week ago. she had the kids for a few days and i tried to resolve our problems with her. but she wanted no part of it, she let me take the kids back home with me. and she did not call to talk to them for 4 days. i know that she has been talking to my cousin who she was with before we got into a relationship.
i know that her moms house is unsafe for three kids, her dad has been a drug addict for at least15 yrs, her mom is not that bad but she will buy anything that ashley says
to make me look bad. i have never hit her but she is telling everyone that i have, i smoked pot, but until three weeks ago she was doing it with me and she denies it.
she says she has just been hanging out with my cousin but he lived in arkansas and that is where she has been scince i got my kids. WHAT CAN I DO TO KEEP MY KIDS?

Until a there is a court order stating where the kids live, either parent has the right move them.
You need to get that order. There are two ways.
One is to file a SAPCR action (suit affecting parent child relationship) This is usually what unmarried people file when the split up and there are kids. However, estranged married people file them as well
Another court action that covers this issue, is a divorce.
Whatever you do, you need to move quickly, if you wait too long, the children will become residents of whatever state and county mom has moved them to.
