Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My wife and I live in Dallas, TX. Her ex husband, who lives in Pearl, MS continues to file custody cases against her, making her have to take off work and travel to MS for court. He has attempted to file child abuse charges against her in MS and has reported the kids as being kidnapped once as well, while we were living in MS as well. Since moving to TX, he has contacted the police here and filed a child abuse complaint against us and now qwe have to deal with that as well. What recourse do we have to stop this?

If he makes a false complaint against you, you can sue him for slander and abuse of process.
If the child has lived in Texas for at least six months, you don't need to go back to MS if he files a custody suit there; simply answer and complain about lack of jurisdiction.
