My wife locked me out of our townhome. What are my rights?

I am the primary lease holder. We had

an argument and she has now locked

me out and told me to find a new

place to live. What are my rights?

I would encourage you to immediate talk to a family law attorney.

I would also talk to your landlord and the police, sheriff and/or constable in your area. You might want one of these folks to go with you to your townhouse to make sure that there is not violence.

Since you are married, you both have the right to be in the townhouse. However, when a spouse changes the locks, it shows that something serious is going on.

Don't get arrested trying to get back into your condo!!!!
