Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My wife and i are still married live in the same house etc, etc.

After being married 14 years we are going through some very difficult times.

In short i want to take my two year old son on a short 2 day trip to Arkansas to see family.

I know she is going to give me six kinds of hell about it, is there anything she can do to stop me from taking him anyway.

No. It's your child, you're the father, you can do whatever you want to. You don't have to ask anybody's permission.
