Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my ex wife, non biological parent, who has helped in raising my son. He is 15 now. She had many chances to adopted but never followed thro with the adoption. The birth mother signed the paper work but her rights where never taken. Now ex wife wants to take my son away from me in court. can she?

No. She's a stepparent. She may be able to think up something to file, that is, some kind of petition, but she won't get anywhere with the Judge.
