Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My wife and I are in the process of filing an uncontested divorce using one attorney. Temporary orders were filed several months ago. After not hearing anything for several months, I called the attorney to check progress and was told that the final decree needed to be filed by my wife. I then see emails from the attorney's office to my wife speaking of delaying the filing, putting things off, etc etc. Basically the attorney is delaying the divorce so my wife can remain on my health insurance. Do I have any ethics complaint on the attorney and short of staring all over again with a second attorney what can be done?

Thanks

If the attorney represents your wife (he can't ethically represent both of you), then you don't have an ethics complaint against you. He doesn't owe you a duty (at least not that kind).

You should get your own attorney - don't "start over." He can operate on your behalf within the existing case (the one that's pending).
