Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My wife and I have been separated since July of 2009. We have not started the divorce process. We are both currently located in the San Antonio area of Texas. She is planning to move in the coming weeks to North Carolina with a friend and taking our two boys, ages 7 and 2, with her. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? There is currently no custody agreement or anything like that. What, if anything, can be done?

File for divorce NOW and ask for temp. orders to have the judge order her and the children to stay in Texas.

If you wait, eventually TX loses jurisdiction and she can transfer the case to NC.
