Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My wife and I are seperated, she left the state with my children. I want her to move back to the state. If I file for divorce before she claims residency in Massachusets will the courts make her move back to Texas? I do not want to be a long distant father.

You need to get on this right away. You can get an order getting the children back (she can live wherever she wants--it's the kids the court is concerned about). But the longer you let this linger, the stronger her argument is that you acquiesced. After 6 months, your case is lost.
