Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Will I ever get to see him?

My ex-boyfriend and I have joint managing consevitorship of our son Ty. My ex-boyfriend has domicile in the state of texas. We both have the same rights but my son lives with his father. It is stated in our cutody agreement thet Im not to pay child support. My ex-boyfriend left the state without contacting me or the courts and took up residence in California.I tried to have him brought back to texas to get custody back because of his leaving the state and not telling me that they were leaving or where they were living but his lawyer some how got their case to change venue to california in front of mine. The Judge would not change venue but since that I have moved to Michigan and now when we come to an agreement on picking my son up for visitations I get out to California and he changes his mind and and I have to go back to Michigan without my son. What can I do to make sure that I am able to see my son when my visitiations come around? I have not seen him in over a year and now I think it would be to hard on him if I took his father to court for full custody .

Since you say that California now has jurisdiction, you should consult with a California lawyer.
