I want to know if I can leave my half of my house to my son. I've been in the house for 25yrs. I was married for four yrs and I've been separated for 16yrs.

If you have been only separated for 16 years, then you are still married. The house is still community property, and your estranged husband may have a life estate in the house, in addition to his title rights to the property. Consult with an attorney to determine your best options.
