Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

will

i am 36 years old and my dad recently passed away and he had a wife and 2 stepdaughters, he left nothing to me and the wife has not even talked to me in almost 5 months. i have a feeling i am being left out of everything. i was told my dad left a will but i have not seen it or been called for a reading of the will. he had told me i could have his personal belonging like his collections of things. what is my legal rights in this mater?

This is Texas, not England. There are rarely "readings" of Wills. It's not part of the process here. If the estate has been filed for probate, you can go to the county where the probate was filed and look at the file, which will include a copy of the Will. If your father left a Will, you are entitled to whatever he specifically left you.
