Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Withdrawl of Motion to Modifiy Custody

My fifteen year old step daughter had been living with her father one year. After a fight with her father, she requested to move back in with us. We filed a Motion to Modify Custody through a local lawyer who did not prove to be advantaguous to us.

At the temporary orders hearing, the Judge wanted a few months of ''cooling off'' period during which my stepdaughter received all the ''things'' she wanted plus met her boyfriend and now does not want move back.

To save on lawyer cost, we would like to file the motion to withdrawl ourselves. What forms are requried, how do we get them, and are there any suggestions on how to fill them out?

This is in a Houston Family court and the final hearing is scheduled for Sept 10th.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
