Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have worked for the same employer for 27 yrs, i am due to retire in 3 yrs. I have been married to my wife for 14 yrs. If we divorce now, what is she entitled to? Is it better to divorce after I retire? The retirement includes a pension equal to about 90% of my income and about 80k lump sum.

She will be entitled to half of whatever portion of the retirement benefits accumulated during the marriage. I don't know of a reason that it would be "better" if you divorce after you retire.
