Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can a wrecker service tow your vehicle from your place of residence? It was not abandoned or illegal. My wife lied to them and told them i did not live there and was tresspassing.

The wrecker acted on the false information provided by the tenant. How would they know she is lying. She appeared to be the home owner or the tenant.
