I have know Lawyer and would or need to responed to a

Petition for divorce.or need to file a written answer to the Petitioner Original Petition for divorce.Must turn in to the District Court every soon.

If you have been served with a Petition for Divorce, you need to file a short document called an Answer. You need to take the original and 2 copies to the courthouse and file it with the clerk's office. They will keep the original and you need to keep one copy and mail one copy to the attorney reprenting your spouse. There is no cost to file the document.
